Refunds

Last updated 1 September 2026

If the book doesn't work for you, write to me within 30 days and I'll refund you in full.

How to ask

Email gunitaqueen@gmail.com from the address you bought with, and tell me briefly what didn't work. That's the only condition, and it isn't a hurdle — I ask because it's the only way I find out what to fix in the next edition.

You don't need to justify yourself, and I won't try to talk you out of it. I'll process the refund the same day.

How the money comes back

The refund goes to the card or account you paid with. I process it within two working days of your email; your bank usually takes another five to ten days to show it.

You'll get a confirmation from Stripe when it's done.

Keep the file

There's nothing to return and no download to disable. Whether you keep the PDF or delete it is entirely up to you.

If something has gone wrong instead

If the file won't open, never arrived, or you were charged twice, that isn't a refund question — write to me and I'll fix it the same day. A refund is for when the book simply isn't what you needed.

Please write to me before contacting your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs me a fee whatever the outcome, and gets you your money more slowly than an email to me does. I have never refused a refund request.

Your statutory rights

This 30-day policy is something I offer voluntarily. It is more generous than the law requires for digital downloads, and it sits on top of your legal rights rather than replacing them.

For the position under EU law on immediate delivery and the 14-day right of withdrawal, see section 5 of the Terms of Sale. Whatever that says, the policy on this page still applies.

Printed editions

The paperback and hardcover are sold by Amazon, not by me. Returns for those go through Amazon under Amazon's own returns policy, and I can't process them.
